As a tertiary industry,MICE has a significant impact on the economic development and image improvement of many cities.The first South China Expo in 2013 was held in Kunming.While bringing new opportunities for development in Yunnan,it also opened up another open and cooperative platform for South and Southeast Asian countries."Yunnan Daily",as a party media,naturally shoulders the responsibility of government propaganda and enhancing the influence of the South China Expo.Based on this,this study takes the "Yunnan Daily" report on the South China Expo as the research object,and according to Zang Guoren's frame analysis method,the "Yunnan Daily" South China Expo report frame is divided into a high-level frame,a middle-level frame,and a low-level frame.The study found that in the high-level framework of the Yunnan Daily's coverage of the Expo,the topics of the report mostly focused on economic and trade and external exchanges,in order to enhance the influence of the Expo and shape the brand of the Expo.In addition,reports are mostly based on news genres,focusing on the timeliness of news,and supplemented by communication genres to make the content more comprehensive.In the middle-level framework of the report,the "Yunnan Daily" 's coverage of the South China Expo was prominent,mostly focusing on the front page,and a special edition was set up to provide a more comprehensive and systematic coverage of the South China Expo.The source of the report was mostly government The department fully reflects the authority of "Yunnan Daily".In the low-level structure,the news headlines of the Expo are mostly concise and straightforward,easy for readers to understand.There are many neutral reports,which reflects the objectivity of the "Yunnan Daily" report on the Expo.Subsequently,this study reflects on the reporting framework of the Yunnan Daily's South China Expo and believes that its reporting framework can be improved.The genre of the report is monotonous and the news source issingle,which leads to the lack of attractiveness of the news reports.The grassroots reports rarely indicate the lack of media care.The consolidation of vocabulary reflects the weak media innovation ability.Problems that need attention.In order to better publicize the South China Expo,this study believes that the "Yunnan Daily" report on the South China Expo can be improved.First,the report genre should be enriched and the theme of the report genre should be further deepened.Secondly,increase grass-roots reporting to reflect the work and contributions of grass-roots personnel,improve the sense of participation of citizens,and make the reporting framework more comprehensive and more temperature-sensitive.Finally,the current hot words and new words can be appropriately used to increase the readability of the report,rational use of negative reports to guide public opinion,and better demonstrate the style of the South China Expo.
