| Eliminating poverty in all its forms is the goal of the United Nations for sustainable development in 2030,and also a great challenge for the underdeveloped countries in the 21 st century.China,as the largest developing country in the world,has a long-term poverty problem.It is the most arduous task for China to get rid of poverty to build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and achieve the first centenary goal.Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the state have included "targeted poverty alleviation" into the three key battles,and put targeted poverty alleviation and shake off poverty exactly in a prominent position.China’s poverty alleviation and development has entered the stage of targeted poverty alleviation from general poverty alleviation.Yunnan Province,located in the southwest border of China,is the province with the widest range of poverty,the largest number of poor people and the deepest degree of poverty.It is also one of the main battlefields for poverty alleviation in the western region.Yunnan daily,as the largest mainstream newspaper in Yunnan Province,has the functions of public opinion guidance,publicity and education,supervision and criticism,and relief of the poor,and is the reporter and booster of targeted poverty alleviation.This paper takes Yunnan daily as the research object,selects the articles on targeted poverty alleviation from the 19 th National Congress to January 2020 as the research sample,and conducts content analysis and case analysis from the number and frequency of targeted poverty alleviation reports,publication layout,manuscript source,report genre,poverty alleviation theme,poverty alleviation means,reporting area,focus subject,involved area and so on.systematically exploring the " issues" setting content and reporting characteristics of Yunnan Daily’s report on targeted poverty alleviation.Yunnan Daily presents the whole process of poverty alleviation in a standardized report on targeted poverty alleviation in Yunnan Province.The content of " issues" is closely related to the government’s work goal of "rural poor people are free from worries over food and clothing and have access to compulsory education,basic medical services and safe housing",including targeted poverty alleviation policy publicity,poverty alleviation means,poverty alleviation achievements,problem supervision,meetings and research,poverty alleviation stories,grass-roots party construction,poverty alleviation cadre selection and training and so on.Based on the quantitative analysis,it is concluded that the accurate reports of Yunnan Daily have the following status: the report is normalized,the layout highlights the importance of topics;the news and communication is the main part,focusing on the on-the-spot collection and writing work;the poverty alleviation theme is wide,involving various poverty alleviation means;focusing on the areas of people’s livelihood,focusing on the deep poverty-stricken areas;focusing on the main body of the government,encouraging the participation of social forces;guiding the public opinion and opening up We will give priority to positive publicity and report on advanced poverty alleviation models.Yunnan Daily has many successful experiences that other media can learn from in setting "issues",guiding public opinion,collecting and editing work and so on.But there are also some imbalances,such as there are little reports on culture and education,unbalanced reporting areas,relatively single reporting genres,insufficient attention to poverty alleviation objects and so on.In this regard,the author puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions based on the content analysis and case analysis,such as increasing the coverage in the field of culture and education,combining poverty alleviation with intelligence,telling good poverty alleviation stories,doing well in poverty alleviation publicity,enriching the reporting form,expanding the depth of reporting,strengthening the social function of media,promoting the modernization process of poverty-stricken areas and so on.To provide relevant ideas and directions for the improvement of specific news business,and help Yunnan’s precise poverty alleviation work. |
