A Study Of Fans'Response Behavior Under The Background Of Idol Economy

Based on the passion for idols,fans use various ways to express their support for idols.This series of practical activities is called fan assistance.With the development of idol industry in Japan and South Korea,large-scale and organized response culture has spread to China,and is generally recognized and accepted by domestic fans.Under the background of Internet,the rise of video platform has opened the curtain of network talent show variety show,and the intervention of strong capital has changed the traditional star making system.Fans can bring huge flow and economic value through assistance activities,and then participate in or even determine the development path of idols,which has the dual attributes of producers and consumers.Social media has broken the limitation of time and space,gathered fans from different social backgrounds,and formed a fan community,which is convenient to concentrate on large-scale assistance activities.In order to maintain the reputation of idols and reflect their commercial value,"data brushing","fund-raising assistance","control and evaluation against blackness" and other forms of assistance emerge in an endless stream.In this paper,the author learned the background and trend of idol economy through participatory observation,summarized and analyzed the current situation of fans' assistance,and then studied the motivation and effect of fans' assistance through questionnaire survey.The author hopes that through the research of fans' response behavior,we can deeply understand the development of fans' response,excavate the value of fans' economy and the reaction of fans' response to idol economy.Finally,based on the research results,we propose suggestions for the sustainable development of idol marketing.
