With the continuous development of contemporary technology,military radar has become an indispensable component in current military activities.In order to efficiently and rapidly develop target radar systems,it is necessary to shorten the testing and debugging cycle of radar.This project is based on a radar simulator designed to detect radar performance in order to reduce radar development costs and shorten development cycles.This article mainly designs and realizes the dense false targets of the radar signal receiving module and the jamming module of the radar simulator,so that the system can receive and analyze the radar signals,extract useful information,and generate false targets that can check the radar performance.Since each radar has its own frequency band,this project uses a multi-band processing method to adapt to the detection of different radars.The radar signals of each band pass through the frequency conversion of the microwave module to form an intermediate frequency signal,and then pass through the digital module to realize the simulation of the echo signal through the collected signal sample data.According to the diversity of radar echo signals,select a programmable logic chip FPGA,and use Verilog programming language and Vivado EDA tools to write functions.This article focuses on the design work from the following aspects:1.This design uses FPGA digital signal processing method to perform digital down conversion,signal windowing,FFT,detection,signal tracking and PDW module on the received radar signal to form a radar signal reconnaissance.The main purpose of radar signal reconnaissance is to accurately measure the full information parameters of the received signal(including carrier frequency,pulse width,amplitude,arrival time,etc.).After pre-sorting,the useless information is removed and sent to the computer.By studying digital down conversion technology,a digital half-fold calculation algorithm is proposed.2.Dense false target is a way of radar deception jamming.This design implements a scheme with multiple parameters that can be set for dense false target,which is processed by the idea of ??convolution;it realizes the parameter option(false target)of the upper computer.Number,false target interval,group interval,group number,relative amplitude,etc.)control the simulator to generate dense false targets thatinterfere with the radar.3.The test results of the radar simulator function show that the designed multi-band radar simulator has the function of parameter control,and can accurately receive and process the radar emission signal,and use the principle of radar echo to generate reliable dense false targets and other deceptive interference signals.It can be used for index testing,tactical training and electronic countermeasures of radar equipment.
