| The radar simulator is usually used for simulating radar echo which contains radar targets and clutter information. Based on the special requirements of a radar system, we mainly discussed the radar echo signal models, radar simulator system architecture and its engineering realization method.In this thesis, we firstly introduced the radar simulator system architecture. Then the radar echo models and their realization methods were studied, especially on radar targets and land clutter. Finally, the engineering realization scheme of the radar simulator was presented based on the special requirements of a radar system. In this scheme, the personal computer (PC) and high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) were combined for radar echo simulation and two independent targets and land clutters could be simultaneously real-time simulated. Moreover, the error performance of the radar simulator was analyzed. |
