Research On Progress Management Improvement Of Company X's Software Development Project

Nowadays,with the rapid development of information technology,it has become a consensus among managers of major enterprises to use advanced digital information systems to improve the level of enterprise management and maximize the core competitiveness of enterprises.The major enterprises have also started system software development projects in multiple business areas to promote their digital transformation and information development.The startup and implementation of such system software development projects require the enterprises to have decent performance in project management,and scientific and effective project schedule management is the guarantee that the project can be completed according to the expected objectives,which is also one of the key factors for the success of the project.System software development projects have the characteristics of high complexity,intelligence intensiveness,and poor visibility,which can easily lead to poor project schedule management,resulting in cost overruns,unqualified quality,and project delays etc.This is also an urgent problem that Company X needs to solve in the software development project.This paper systematically introduces the current status and development trends of the software development industry,puts forward research ideas,analyzes the current status of software project management in company X based on detailed analysis of the current project progress management theory and methods,and summarizes the current software development.Problems and reasons in the execution process of project progress management;Taking company X's set-up for multiple software development projects for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of Group P as examples,to research and analyze the execution behavior,project progress management,and control process,finding out the problems in the company's software development project,proposing solutions,optimization plans and safeguard measures.The study starts from the actual project progress management of Company X,and it gives the optimization method and guarantee measures of project progress management through improving the project organization and personnel management,progress plan preparation,project management process and project progress control.The research significance of this paper is not only providing a set of corporate progress management templates that take Group P as the main customer,fully considering the characteristics of Group P's enterprises and the difficulty of project execution,solving thedifficulties faced by Company X's software development project progress management,but also serving other information companies under Group P and other projects Information companies facing similar difficulties as company X did in progress management as reference.
