With the development of pulse power technology,and the strict requirements of high voltage and high current pulse power technology in military and medical fields,high voltage and high current pulse generators have become more and more widely used,which put forward higher requirements for pulse generator test technology.At present,there are defects such as low measurement accuracy and small measurement range in the test field of pulse generator,which cannot meet the test requirements of high voltage and high current pulse generators.In order to monitor the discharge characteristics of the pulse generator and control the reliable operation of the pulse generator,this paper takes virtual instrument technology as the core and combines simulation technology,control technology,network technology,and database technology to develop a comprehensive test system,which combines software and hardware with multiple technologies.At first,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the field test of the pulse generator,a pulse generator based on a high-temperature superconducting pulse transformer was designed,a corresponding mathematical model was established according to the working principle of the pulse generator.A pulse generator virtual simulation experiment platform was designed using Matlab's powerful data processing capabilities and Lab VIEW's rich graphic display capabilities,and the simulation test research was carried out on it.Then,modern testing technology,virtual instrument technology and database technology are applied to design a pulse generator test system,in which the field test research on the pulse generator was carried out.The hardware system consists of a computer,a data acquisition card,a drive circuit board,as well as a voltage and current sensor.And the software system is designed using Lab VIEW.In the pulse generator parameter measurement algorithm,the denoising algorithm based on EEMD is used to eliminate noise;the data fitting algorithm based on least square method is used to accurately measure the peak value and pulse width of the pulse generator current;SQL Server technology is applied to establish the database of the test system and ADO technology is used to exchange data between Lab VIEW and the database to realize the storage and query of a large amount of data;the remote publishing and control of the pulse generator test systems are realized through B/S mode,in which Lab VIEW built-in web publishing technology and Dreamweaver technology are used.Finally,the experimental design is carried out by taking two modules of synchronously and asynchronously triggered pulse generator as an example.And the experimental results show that the test system can accurately control the working process of the pulse generator,and the peak value,pulse width,as well as other parameters of the pulse generator,are measured well.The field test results and simulation test results are compared and analyzed.The actual measurement results and the virtual simulation results are basically consistent on the waveform,which shows that the pulse generator test system designed in this paper can fully meet the needs of users and experimenters for high voltage and high current testing.The pulse generator test system has met the design requirements in terms of data acquisition,data processing,and waveform display,which verifies the rationality and effectiveness of the test technology,and provides a new method for testing high voltage and high current.And the method solves the problems of imprecise pulsed high current test and possible personal injury to experimenters.
