Design And Realization Of Simulation Test System For General Test Instrument

In today's college curriculum,the proportion of experimental courses is very high,especially for science and engineering schools,in order to exercise students hands-on ability,the number of experimental courses is increasing.However,in the daily experimental course teaching,there are all aspects of the problem.In recent years,with the rapid development of computer technology and network,making the use of software programs to simulate the real experimental environment possible.Based on the theory of virtual instrument design,this paper makes use of the rich control and function library of Labwindows/CVI software to simulate the test instrument function generator and oscilloscope.This design uses pure software simulation of the general test equipment for the simulation,the simulation equipment has a stronger applicability,better cost-effective,easy to expand and maintain.In this design,firstly,design and completion of the experiment manager,allowing users to use the experimental manager to choose the simulation experiment.And then select the different simulation equipment,connect the simulation instrument and assign the port number for the selected virtual instrument to assure communication between the virtual instruments.Secondly,the designed and implemented the simulation signal generator,oscilloscope,the two common test equipment.In this simulation design,the prototype of simulation signal generator is Agilent 33220 A function generator,to achieve the user by clicking the digital button to set the waveform signal parameters,in order to produce different parameters of the waveform data function.The prototype of oscilloscope is Agilent 5012 A oscilloscope,simulation oscilloscope through the TCP communication to achieve the waveform data reception.At the same time in the simulation of the oscilloscope corresponding to the user set the different time base and vertical sensitivity,to achieve the waveform reconstruction and triggering,data standardization and waveform display and other functions.In the experiment of SCPI achieve the user through the computer to send SCPI command to simulate the oscilloscope to set or measure the waveform function.In the other experiment,the user realizes the function of setting the different parameters on the generator side of thesimulation function,sending the generated waveform data to the simulation oscilloscope,reconstructing the waveform data,triggering the display and so on.The use of Labwindows/CVI software design of the general test instrument simulation experiment system,breaking the traditional experimental equipment is expensive and the scope of application is not large.In the experimental teaching,has great research significance.
