Design Of Automated Test System Base On Virtual Instrument And Realization Of Signal Simulation

The technology of virtual instrument, as one of important parts of information technology, has great value to technical study and has good prospects for application. It breaks through the limits of traditional technology in such fields as data acquisition, data processing, data displaying and data storage. So, how to take advantage of it and develop it better deserves careful study.Automatic test system based on virtual instrument, which helps complete automatic test system with signal generator, data processing and showing, result storing in real time automatically, is explained in this paper.Automatic test system is made up of automatic test and data management platform, signal simulation. Automatic test and data management platform mainly control signal simulation bring signl which is regulated by user, receive and process data. Signal simulation mainly receive data from automatic test and data management platform, then generate several kinds of signal. This article illustrate how to design and realize signal simulator, the precision of signal simulator can affect automatic test system. This signal simulation use adventech computer as signal simulator platform and National Instument's PCI-5401 and PCI-6723 as analog signal generator and EPH-6272 as ARINC429 protocol data generator, CP-104UL as serial data generator. All kinds of cards connect with computer platform use PCI bus, software use virtual instrument development environment LabWindows/CVI。The output of analog signal is exact, it is satisfy system requirement, the output of digital signal is exact and credible after receiving and demodulation. Automatic test system is steady and credible, can work a long time without error, it achieves project demand.
