Microwave measurement technology is an important part of the electromagnetic field and microwave technology;it was used widely in both military field and civilian field.Traditionally,microwave measurement mainly refers to the signal characteristic parameter measurements and network characteristic parameter measurements.In recent years,technology changed fast,old measurement cannot meet need any more.With the rapid development of computer and control theory,the combination of automation test system and microwave measurement is a proper way to solve this problem.Besides,virtual instrument technology promotes this tendency.Based on the virtual instrument technology,this paper builds a test platform,and deeply studies some technologies related to this.Include bus technology,the remote control of the instrument,hardware deployment and so on.The key point of platform design is generality;it means that we can conduct many test items in one test platform.By this means,we can increase the utilization of instruments,and reduce the test cost.Besides,this paper includes research of intelligence,adds some special design in the software.Simplifying the test process and reducing the difficulty to use.Based on the test system,this paper includes three subsystems.They are military electromagnetic emission automatic test system,double frequency automatic test system and antenna pattern automatic test system based on compact field.The military electromagnetic emission automatic test system refers to the item of electromagnetic emission in EMC test based on GJB151 B.It solves some problems include hardware deployment and software development.The double frequency automatic test system mainly solves the test problem of nonlinearity characters of receiver and RF devices.It includes hardware deployment,test process optimization and software development.Antenna pattern automatic test system based on compact field mainly solves the test problem of antenna pattern,gain and HPBW.The main work is software development,includes turntable module design,VNA module design and test process design.The technical problems have been solved include PLC control,serial port communication and so on.
