Analysis Of Scientific Research Data Management Based On Institutional Repository

The institutional repository plays an important role in digital resource management and long-term preservation,and is an important tool for promoting open access and academic exchange.At present,most of the institutional repository is research-based,and the resources included are mostly published research papers,academic monographs,conference literature,and dissertations.It is difficult to highlight their characteristics.The reality shows that although institutions are supporting the development of institutional repository,the enthusiasm of researchers is not very high,and the institutional repository has not been fully integrated into the research process.In the environment of E-Science and EResearch,the public and the scientific community are increasing their demand for research data management and demand.Incorporate research data into the construction of institutional repository,build a set of mechanisms suitable for research data management,expand the service content and service levels of institutional repository,and expand the scope of services,so that the institutional repository becomes not only a result preservation center,but also scientific research data supervision center.Based on the platform of institutional repository,this paper analyzes the influencing factors and functions of research data management,and establishes the strategy of research data management from the aspects of policy and mechanism,so as to realize the effective management of research data by institutional repository,which is the problem to be discussed in this paper.The main contents of this paper are as follows: first,investigate the current situation of institutional repository and research data management platform at home and abroad,and analyze the feasibility of institutional repository for research data management;Secondly,Using the DEMATEL model to identify the key factors that affect the management and sharing of research data,grasp the laws and mechanisms of research data management,so as to lay the foundation for formulating effective research data management strategies;Thirdly,taking the UK as an example,research on the policy of research data sharing and management and institutional repository open access policies,and provide advice and suggestions for the formulation of the policy of research data management of institutional repository in our country.Fourth,according to the above research foundation,this paper puts forward the mechanism of building institutional repository for research data management.Achieving the effective acquisition,organization,management,and reuse of research data is the prerequisite for its value.It is found that the institutional repository is feasible in research data management,and the exchange and sharing of research data can be realized by using its open access function.In order to realize the collection and preservation of research data,the institutional repository should set up an independent research data management module,establish a complete policy mechanism from data acquisition to utilization,strictly control the quality and copyright ownership of data,and improve the utilization and storage rate of data through the publicity service mechanism.Based on this,I hope this paper can provide advice and reference for the integration of institutional repository and research data management.
