| Public libraries,as an important part of the public cultural service system,are the base for the public to further their education and implementing their lifelong education.In a bid to provide library readers and users with a better learning environment and a better platform to access information,public libraries are required to innovate information service mode,enrich the content of information service and improve the standards of information service.Whether as a medium of releasing information or a new channel of providing service,users(fans)of public libraries are the most important resources of public library micro-blog.Users' reposts,comments and thumbs-up help gain popularity and values of public library micro-blog,public libraries can receive feedback from users.Although many public library micro-blogs bear a large number of fans,only a few of the posts on the public library micro-blog have been forwarded or commented on.According to the above,This study includes the following three parts.First of all,a survey was conducted on the current situation of utilization of public library micro-blog.In this study,taking the micro-blog of Nanjing library as an example,the micro-blog data of the last three years is captured via a crawler system based on Python programming.Then different categories were constructed based on regular patterns of content and mode of Nanjing library micro-blog,making a differential analysis of the reposts and thumbs·up of different categories.The study found that,on the whole,the number of thumbs-up of Nanjing library micro-blog and the utilization rate were relatively low.In terms of substantive category of micro-blog,there are significant differences in reposts and comments of various topics.Long text posts are more likely to be forwarded.The micro blog with the texts encouraging forwarding gains more likes.The pure text type of micro-blog are better received than those with links.In terms of form categories of micro-blog,the number of reposts of micro-blog of Nanjing library is higher than that of the original posts of micro-blog,and more comments and thumbs-up are received during the period(20pm.to 24 am.)Secondly,the influential factors of low utilization rates of public libraries were analyzed.Based on S-O-R theory,this study built a model of influential factors of user' low utilization rates,and determined the research framework and variable measure.The dependent variables are mainly centered around users,external environment and micro-blog,including the seven variables,namely,utilization habits,social platform ability,interface design,micro-bog content quality,micro-blog service quality,user groups and alternative advantage.The dependent variable is users' low utilization,which includes browsing only,transferring to the alternative platforms and abandoning three variables.A total of 274 questionnaires were distributed,which were all were collected.After processing the data,203 effective data of the questionnaire survey were sampled.Data analysis results showed that the influential factors of users' low utilization ratesare users' habits,alternative advantage and user groups.Finally,based on the results of empirical research,this study puts forward the future development strategies of public libraries in micro-blog.From the point of view of the advantages of alternatives,the public library micro-blog must cooperate with the WeChat platform to serve the common service,rationally locate the suggestions of the service modules of each platform.From the perspective of users' group,this paper proposes strategies to improve user stickiness and expand user's influence by using old users.From the perspective of users' habits,this paper puts forward improvement measures based on user needs and improving user participation consciousness. |
