Analysis On Advantages And Disadvantages Of Public Journalism Development In China In The Micro Blog Era

These news events heated with the participation of micro blogshows its great propagation power. In the past one year, micro blog has developed fastand become more and more popular. It shows the increasingly prominent impact onnews propagation and has pushed the development of online citizen news. On theother hand, the propagation mode of micro blog based on network is also an importantstrike to the traditional news media. Additionally, the opinion leader on the microblog propagation platform is the center of “rights to speak” and has indispensablepropagation affects on micro blog.This paper analyzes the propagation advantages of micro blog and discusses themeaning of micro blog to online citizen news in combination with its presentconditions. It can be seen that micro blog has wide application landscape to newspropagation, and also creates an important news source and a new form of news. Butthere are also disadvantages, for example, mass trivial information brings micro blogproblems like falsehood, deluge of rubbish information and lack of mature networksupervision, etc. These problems must be resolved for micro blog to develop in themedia direction.
