Research On User Participation Behavior And Influencing Factors In Public Library PDA Mode

Reading for all is an important activity carried out by the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Civilization Office and other departments in order to implement the Party's 16th National Congress's requirements for building a learning society.The activity has been carried out since 2006 and has achieved good social effects.What measures should be taken to improve the level of public services to ensure reading for all has become the focus of work for many units.For public libraries,the problem of lack of public reading services is very common,and many public libraries are actively seeking ways to improve public reading services.In order to meet the immediate needs of different types of readers,and to create a good social atmosphere that loves reading,Nanjing Library launched"Tao Fengcai" in April 2016-your book selection,I pay for activities.Readers participating in the event can choose any books that meet the requirements at the three service locations.With the valid borrowing certificate of Nanjing Library,they can go through the on-site borrowing procedures.All the books involved in the event will be paid by Nanjing Library after the return.And included in the collection.The"Tao Fengcai"service is an effective implementation of the domestic PDA(Patron-Driven Acquisition,PDA)model using paper books.The service has been in operation for more than three years,and the advantages and disadvantages of its services have become increasingly prominent.Issues such as the small range of resources for reading paper books,single service models,and lack of systematic evaluation have all restricted the further development of the "Tao Fengcai" service to a certain extent.How to improve the service level of "Tao Fengcai" and its popularity,utilization,and user satisfaction have become the problems that the Nanjing Library urgently needs to solve.This study takes the "Tao Fengcai" service of the Nanjing Library as the research object,and explores the influencing factors that influence the readers of the Nanjing Library to participate in the "Tao Fengcai" service from the perspective of user participation.With the goal of increasing users' willingness to use,it explores feasible ways In order to improve the level of public services for reading.The research results show that service quality and easy service participation positively significantly affect users 'perceived usefulness and perceived value of services;user perceived usefulness of services positively significantly affect users'perceived value of services;positive perceived values significantly affect positively User willingness to use the service.In the end,based on the research results,it was suggested that the Nanjing Library should improve its management methods,innovate its service model,and optimize the quality of its resources to improve the service quality of "Tao Fengcai"and attract more readers to use the service.
