Research On The Development And Strategy Of Bookcrossing In Universities

The paper firstly conducts online surveys and literature surveys on the development of bookcrossing in public libraries,colleges,and websites at home and abroad.It also conducts a quantitative analysis of relevant domestic literature from the two aspects of the book crossing theory study and the empirical study of bookcrossing.The bibliometric analysis found that there are relatively more research literatures on domestic bookcrossing theory,and there are few literatures on case study of bookcrossing.The few case studies are just a study on the subject of bookcrossing participants.We haven't found a comprehensive analysis of the entire bookcrossing process and research literature on drift behavior through specific case data.The case study of this article is based on book drifting at Nanjing Agricultural University.It summarizes the book drifting records from May 11,2013 to April 23,2017.From the" books","drifters","drifters" to carry out analysis of three aspects." Books" mainly consider four aspects:the number of books for floating and bleaching,the number of books for drifting,the number of drifts,the comparison between drifting books and local collections,etc.;the"bearers" are mainly from the number of floaters,the quality of floaters,and the number of floaters.In the other three aspects to analyze;"seeking to drift" is mainly in the number of drift,drift number,drift time and return time and other aspects.Case data analysis initially identified three major factors that influenced the book's drift:book factors,information transmission factors,and participants' honesty factors.In order to better verify the restrictive factors of the drift of college books,the paper used the questionnaire survey method.First of all,the telephone interview has repeatedly participated in the readers of the book drifting,sort out the problems in the book drifting in the interview,and combined with the factors that influenced the book drifting in the case study,summed up the issues that teachers and students in colleges and universities care about and consider.The questionnaires for the "floaters","drifters" and "organizers" were established.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted using the online questionnaire platform.A total of 267 questionnaires were distributed and 267 completed questionnaires were collected.After the data was cleaned,227 valid questionnaires were determined.Finally,using Excel to statistically analyze the type,frequency,and status of the books of drifting and drifting,the "book factors","information dissemination factors",and "good faith factors"affecting the book drifting are verified.By comparing the results of the case data analysis with the results of the survey data analysis,an in-depth analysis of the consistent conclusions of the two cases revealed that the main factors affecting the drift of college books are"asymmetric information","restrictions on geographical distribution" and "low visibility"."Lack of credibility mechanism" and so on;according to the influencing factors,the paper puts forward the optimization strategies for the development of college books' drifting in three aspects:"strengthening information supervision","improving information dissemination",and "optimizing integrity evaluation".
