Since the 21 st century,new media based on the Internet and wireless communication technology have continuously emerged.The sweeping trend has caused a huge impact on the survival and development of traditional media,resulting in a huge change in the communication environment,and the media ecology and communication pattern have followed deep changes,the core competitiveness once formed by traditional media gradually disintegrated.As a crucial form of media in modern society,TV is facing multiple challenges in the new technological and social environment.Network video,mobile Internet,social media and so on have an unprecedented impact on traditional TV.New media's multi-layered and multi-angled penetration of traditional media has made TV media no longer stand out,and the boundaries between the two have become increasingly blurred.Entwined development and interactive advancement have become the trend.Facing the impact,combined with national strategic requirements,technological progress,and industry development forms,traditional media have to rely on new media,and the entire media industry is showing a trend of media convergence.In recent years,media convergence has been deepened as a national strategy,media convergence has promoted the formation of an all-media communication system,and the creation of an all-media communication system with Chinese characteristics has risen to the height of the national governance system,and it is imperative to build a new ecosystem of all-media transmission system.As a mainstream program category on TV screens,TV variety shows have encountered unprecedented crisis in this surge of media convergence.Under the background of media convergence,can TV variety shows break the deadlock with the help of Internet thinking,master the skills of media convergence as soon as possible,while maintaining their own advantages,constantly enrich themselves with the characteristics of new media,realize the integration of traditional TV programs and new media platforms,innovate program forms,reduce the loss ofaudiences,strengthen their own brand building,and complete their own transformation.Realizing the long-term development of TV variety show ecological balance has become the most urgent proposition.With the continuous upgrading of the Internet,the media has gradually developed from a tool and channel into a connected platform,and human society has been introduced into a converged ecosystem,so that any kind of media problem cannot be solved by a single media,and it needs to be viewed and taken care of from a wider perspective of media ecology.Therefore,putting variety shows in the context of the current media integration ecology,and studying the innovation of variety shows is the main problem that this article faces and solves.Based on this,this thesis will focus on the use of media ecology theory to conduct a panoramic scanning and induction of the television ecological change in the context of media integration,and the current state of the media ecology of TV variety shows,thereby analyzing the media of TV variety shows The problem of ecological construction,with a view to exploring a feasible path for the integration and innovation of TV variety shows,and to establish a theoretical system for the ecological construction of TV variety shows.Specifically,this thesis focuses on the study of the construction of media ecology of TV variety shows in the era of media convergence.It is mainly guided by theories of media integration,media ecology,and media platforms,comprehensive use of related theories of communication,art,and economics,and adopting an interdisciplinary research perspective.This thesis comprehensively uses research methods such as literature research method,case study method,comparative analysis method,etc.,to deeply analyze the innovative development path of TV variety shows in the era of media integration on the basis of watching,organizing,researching and analyzing a large number of variety shows.From the perspective of "original ecology","inner ecology" and "outer ecology",the media ecology construction research of TV variety shows in the era of media integration is put forward,and specific construction strategies are proposed to help the TV variety shows develop healthily.This topic has important theoretical significance and practical value for the creation and research of TV variety shows.This paper will be divided into five chapters to study the construction of media ecology of TV variety in the era of media convergence.In the introduction,first of all,the background of the topic selection is analyzed in detail,and the significance of the topic selection in terms of theoretical significance and practical guidance is discussed.Second,the research status of the topic selection,and the core content of this article,namely media fusion,The development of television in the era of media,media ecology,and variety show as themes,combing and introducing relevant international and domestic works,literature and theory;finally explain the research purpose,research content,research ideas,research methods,etc.of this article.The first chapter briefly defines the related concepts in the article,mainly media convergence,TV variety and media ecology.Based on this,the definition and characteristics are outlined,and related theories involved in the research,such as media convergence theory,media ecology theory,media platform theory,etc.are theoretically sorted out and paved,which are the theoretical basis of this paper.The second chapter mainly studies the transformation of television ecology in the era of media convergence.Starting from the difficulties faced by television media,how to break through the difficulties must be discussed from an ecological perspective.The current evolution of the television ecology is explained in three aspects through the three dimensions of television development,the traditional ecology and the new media,and the innovation path of the television product and the innovation path of the television product.Finally,the motivations of the ecological transformation of television communication are attributed to factors such as technological innovation,policy promotion,market opening,cultural integration,and audience needs.The third chapter systematically sorts out the development history of TV variety shows through four dimensions: content form,communication form,production method and program type.In content form,from party performances to reality shows,in communication form,from TV variety shows to network variety shows,the production method ranges from the sectionleader system to the studio system,the program type from the program variety show to the product variety show.The historical staging of variety shows in various stages,vertical and horizontal combing,is convenient to clarify the development status and changes of variety shows.The fourth chapter focuses on the current situation of TV variety show media ecology and media ecological crisis.Placing TV variety shows in a macro and dynamic media ecological environment,systematically analyzing the background of TV variety shows 'survival and growth from the external ecological environment and“ niche ”and ecological relationships,and analyzing the current status and growth of TV variety shows,And analyze the media ecological crisis that TV variety shows face in the current development process.The fifth chapter explores the media ecological construction of TV variety in the era of media convergence.This is the key chapter of this paper.Combining Internet thinking such as user thinking,platform thinking,and cross-border thinking as the basis of construction.The media ecology construction strategy of TV variety shows is expounded from three aspects: the middle layer of the media ecology—the media “primary ecology”,the inner layer—the media“inner ecology” and the outer layer—the media “outer ecology”.The last part of the conclusion focuses on the future development of TV variety shows.Based on insisting on balance,encouraging innovation,advocating green,and promoting pluralism,it proposes a development strategy for the rebalancing of TV variety media ecology.In this dissertation,through the study of TV variety shows,taking the media era as the background,and media ecology as the perspective,this paper examines the ecological status and influence factors of TV variety shows,and explores the construction strategy of excellent variety show ecology,so as to find the TV variety show rebalance.The way out and turn for the better,with a view to guiding the communication practice and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of TV variety shows.
