Sinchew.com is the largest Chinese media website in Malaysia. In this research,503 news reports on China-Malaysia economic and trade relations in the "One Belt and One Road" news issue of Sinchew.com from January 1,2014,to November 30,2018,were selected, and the "Guoren Zang's frame structure " was used as the theoretical method for qualitative and quantitative analysis of these reports. This paper is divided into the following five chapters:The first chapter mainly described the selection time and selection criteria of news samples and showed the samples. The research found that the number of news about China-Malaysia bilateral economic and trade relations under the "One Belt and One Road" news issue has always been much higher than other types of news, and it is less volatile in each year;message genre is mainly used in the reports but there are also a small number of comments, newsletters, and in-depth articles. The second chapter analyzed the high-level structure of the reporting framework, which is the theme of news reports. It is found that there are obvious differences in reporting attention and reporting tendency of Sinchew.com between the different topics of the reports: the topic of "Unimpeded Trade" is the most concerned, and the attitude of the reports is positive;although there are only a few reports on the topic of "Financial Integration",the news orientation is relatively multi-faceted and more complex;the reports on the topic of "Connectivity of Infrastructure" have a clear change in the news orientation, and the proportion of negative news is increasing;the tendency of the reports on the topic of "The Policy Interpretation of 'One Belt and One Road'" is clearly differentiated;the number of the reports on the topic of "Domestic Economic Situation" and "Overseas Chinese" has changed little, and the reporting tendency is mostly positive. The third chapter analyzed the middle-level structure of the reporting framework, which is the links of news reports. The result shows that there are more news reports of Sinchew.com.on the link of main events and the link of the impacts and the results, while fewer reports on the link of the previous events and history, attribution, and evaluation. The fourth chapter analyzed the low-level structure of the reporting framework, which are keywords and sources. On the issue of "One Belt and One Road",while the authorities always keep a firm grip on the power of discourse, civil society organizations also actively participate in the construction of discourse, and the views of experts and scholars are more diverse.More positive words are used to report and paraphrase, which shows great support and cooperation attitude to the "One Belt and One Road" initiative. The fifth chapter discussed the partial economic appeals showed by Malaysia when building the "One Belt and One Road" strategy with China and the cognitive differences in China-Malaysia bilateral economic and trade relations under the "One Belt and One Road" initiative between different groups in Malaysian society.Combined with the social reality and historical status, the research also analyzed the economic, political and international environmental factors affecting the framework.
