The case study is based on the theory of constructivism in international relations,to analyze the communicational effect and the strategy called "The Belt and Road Initiative".First of all,this paper performs an analysis to understand the practice made by mainstream media of China and the communicational mode themainstream media of China used in Africa.The result finds out that several problems still exist like the imbalance between official discourse and civil agenda,the paradox between public diplomacy and new communication normalcy,and the lack of endogenous power.Next,by discussing the sample analyses of the framework,discourse and international spillover effect from China Daily Africa,this paper draws the conclusion that China Daily Africa prefers diversified information sources to the one-side mode thatChina Daily Africa always had in the past under the issue of "The Belt and Road Initiative".The China Daily Africa also introduces new forms such as "the special commentator" to reach the goal of diversification.However,from the perspective of the content framework,the issue that China Daily Africa spend too much space on economic and trade cooperation than local news still exists.After that,this study focuses on analyzing reportorial discourses and international spillover effect to discover that the communication strategies used by China Daily Africa under the issue of "The Belt and Road Initiative" is using rational analysis to rise "resonate" and to build up "social common".They also try to tell different stories from different perspectives to reach the "positive spillover effect".Finally,this paper discussed the feasibility analysis and suggestions of future communication in Africa based on the theory of constructivism in international relationship. |
