Investigation And Analysis Of Facing Recommended Bibliography For Science Popularization In Public Libraries

Reading promotion is one of the basic tasks of public libraries.Popular science reading promotion is an important part of reading promotion.Book recommendation activity is the core function of reading promotion activities.Popular reading recommendation is the basis and guarantee for the effective development of popular science reading promotion activities.Generally speaking,among the many popular science books,the award-winning books are the most representative,influential and high-quality books.Therefore,this paper chooses the popular science books that receive the book awards and their popular science popularization activities in public libraries.The analysis of the application situation is not only important for the selection of book lists for public library popularization promotion activities,but also for the readers to choose popular science books and other social organizations for scientific knowledge promotion.This article uses the literature survey method to obtain the “China National Book Award”,“the Wenjin Book Award”,“the World Chinese Science Popularization Award”,“the China Natural Good Book Award”,and “the Top Ten Natural Children's Book Awards”.Based on this,the Delphi method is used to determine the science-oriented reading.Promote the sample list of recommended bibliographies,and further analyze the subject list,author,and publishers of the sample book.The research finds that the popular science books are mainly based on the history of scientific development,human and nature,and the excellent science writers include Hawking,Wu Jun,etc.The publishing house is mainly based on publishing houses such as CITIC Publishing House and Sanlian Bookstore.At the same time,combined with the literature survey method and the field survey method,the booklet and sample book list recommended by the readers in the public library popular science promotion activities are compared and analyzed.It is found that the popular science books recommended by public libraries account for a small proportion of the award-winning books.At the end of the thesis,the overall analysis of the comprehensive award list and the basic situation of popularization of public library reading,it is recommended that the public library should consider the outstanding works such as the award-winning bibliography in the selection of popular science reading list,and select excellent publishers and excellent authors.The popular science works are jointly recommended,and it is recommended that the library strengthen the social cooperation with the publishers and authors to promote the development of popular science reading promotion.In addition,readers are also advised to refer to the excellent science readings analyzed in this paper on the selection of popular science books.
