In the process of modernization in China,the development of cities plays an important role,and if a city wants to enhance its comprehensive competitiveness,a good image of the city is essential.With the development of media integration,the communication of city image should be in line with the trend of media development,so as to enhance the popularity and influence of the city.Throughout the relevant research in China,few scholars separated from the communicator-led urban image transmission and construction,the lack of audience analysis has become the lack of urban communication research.This paper uses the concept of " new frontier cities" as the basis for judging the concept of urban image communication,and chooses the more representative college students.For the sample,carry on the city image dissemination research under the user's angle of view.On the one hand,as the most important group of citizens,college students belong to the current Internet users,on the other hand,we can also analyze whether the city they choose in future employment is related to the image of the city.We can also find out whether the dissemination of city image is of great significance to attract talents.First of all,based on the current domestic and foreign research on urban communication,this research summarizes the concept of urban image and the shortcomings of urban image communication,and absorbs the previous evaluation index of urban image communication.Design questionnaires and mathematical models.Secondly,according to the survey data and regression analysis,the factors affecting the effect of urban image transmission are studied,and the dimensions of urban image are discussed from theperspective of users.Finally,this paper discusses the research turn of urban image communication in the future by using a variety of theories,so as to contribute to the theory of urban image communication.According to the survey results and model analysis,the urban image index in the eyes of users is still based on the economic strength,and the administrative status and policy orientation of the city are still very important.The communication of urban image needs to consider the channels of social media and new media,and the direct image of individual to the city is the most important source of urban image.In the future,the communication of city image should focus on the virtual space and construct the cultural and psychological identity of the city image from the perspective of users.
