The rapid development of digital communication related technologies and computer technology has greatly promoted the demand for high speed data transmission.In the fields of data acquisition,radar communication and remote sensing,high-speed data transmission has gradually become a key point in the design of communication systems because of the increasing amount of data and the increasing complexity of data processing.The high-speed data transmission system can guarantee the rapidity,stability and reliability of data transmission.Therefore,the development of high-speed data transmission system is extremely urgent.Aim to the demand of high-speed data transmission,this paper starts from the actual engineering project to develop a fiber-optic communication board based on PCI Express,which is used to realize high-speed data transmission.This paper presents the overall design of the PCIe fiber-optic communication card based on the top-down design method.In terms of hardware structure design,the core board and function board stacking scheme is adopted to reduce the board area,which ensures the flexibility and expandability of the board.In the process of hardware design,high-speed serial signal simulation is performed on the PCIe fiber-optic communication card to ensure the rationality of the board design.ZYNQ chip is selected as the main control chip of the PCIe fiber-optic communication card developed by this subject.The SRIO protocol and PCIe protocol are selected as the fiber interface protocol and host interface protocol of the board,and the high-speed data caching function is realized by using DDR3 SDRAM.For the design of each functional module of the board,the fiber optic communication module is designed based on the SRIO Gen2 IP core to realize the optical fiber data receiving function of the board.The MIG IP core is used as the main body to design the cache module to realize the data cache function and ensure the reliability of data transmission.For the functional realization of the PCIe communication module,two solutions based on Xilinx XDMA and RIFFA are designed,and the performance of the two schemes is tested and analyzed.WinDriver and Visual Studio are used to design the driver and application of the board,the function of data transmission by the host computer control board is realized.The test results show that the optical fiber communication card based on PCI Express developed by this project realizes high-speed and stable data transmission,and the data transmission capability meets the design requirements,which has important theoretical significance and practical value.
