B Company is heading for the stage ot prime period and in the environment of high competition.Continue improvement will help it keep the competency.As the only one industrial center of B Company,B Xiamen is not in charge of manufacturing but also supply chain management and new product development.And it is willing to improve the management level by process optimization.ERP project is to be a strategic project under this situation.This Research focuses on demand to supply improvement.In the study of the research of process improvement and ERP,recap the development and summary the tools which also inspire the improvement project.The key processes are descripted and summarizes the main problems.Demand to supply process improvement is the core part and especially introduce the issues and opportunity.The optimization is by the way of the overall design and minor improvement in lower level process with the help of value stream mapping,ECSIA,root-cause analyze and system feature.The optimization effect evaluation is also important part in project.The evaluation system is from kpi and process performance perspectives and then scoring.From the result,the whole all impact from ERP is positive,but the impact to leadtime is limited.This research is on process improvement under ERP project and it will help future system upgrade in B Company or the company which would like to phase in ERP system to provide the general path.
