W company is a Taiwan-funded enterprise,which specializes in designs and producing small and medium-sized LCD screens.It is a typical manufacturing enterprise.With the increase of raw material cost,logistics,storage and labor cost,enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges and competitive pressure.In fact,W company,as an epitome,reflects the dilemma faced by many domestic electronic manufacturing enterprises: the rising cost of production makes the profit decrease year by year,and the constantly changing market puts forward higher requirements for the production of upstream enterprises in the supply chain.Throughout China's electronics manufacturing industry,the added value is low with a high production capacity.The mode of pursuing low price for individual part has not been able to adapt to the current market development.In the complex and competitive environment,supply chain is gradually replacing the traditional concept of pure procurement,logistics and suppliers.The integration and sharing of information flow,capital flow and goods flow has become a new cooperation model.It also has a direct impact on the enterprise's costs and profits.Therefore,more and more enterprise managers are trying to use effective methods to manage them,so as to improve the overall competitiveness of enterprises and achieve product quality improvement,cost reduction and order delivery cycle shorted.This thesis firstly gives a brief overview of the research background,purpose and significance of the topic,and then systematically expounds the theories of management on raw materials in purchasing,production planning,and procurement management in the supply chain environment,which serve as the theoretical basis of this thesis.Based on the above theory,this thesis describes the current purchasing and feeding process of W company and analysis the problems existing in the current process.Based on the theoretical basis and combining the theory with the practice,the author puts forward the improvement goals and plans,including the improvement of procurement work responsibilities,shortening the procurement cycle,strengthening the planning work functions,and improving the supply chain performance through the information system and the new mode.Finally,by comparing the results before and after the process improvement,it can be found that W company's procurement division is more reasonable and the procurement cycle is shortened.At the same time,the improved information system helps enterprises effectively reduce the declaration errors in the process of importing raw material.Unnecessary waiting and delays are reduced.The research content of this thesis not only can provide guidance for W company's procurement process improvement,but also hope to provide reference for other electronic manufacturing enterprises like W in the field of material feeding process.
