| The Monthly Magazine of The Tianjin Municipal Popular Library is the earliest public library publication in Tianjin region during the period of the Republic of China.It was edited and published jointly by seven municipal popular libraries in Tianjin and is referred to as "Journal of the mouthpiece".First of all,this paper carry out a depth analysis of the magazine base on its unique background of publication,describes it from editing and publishing two parts,then summarizes the main feature of the magazine on this basis.Secondly,because this journal helped those seven popular libraries to play the roles of social education,this paper will focus on its intimate connection between popular education and education for children,and conducts a detailed analysis of those two parties as well.Finally,this paper objectively evaluates the historical significance of this journal under the special historical background,then further summarizes the enlightenment of this journal for modern library journal cause,and the reference value for the development of the contemporary public library.In addition,this paper systemically collated two graphs,the A detailed list of the papers included in the index to library science papers and the index to The journal,aiming to enrich the study of this paper. |
