A Study On The Civilians In The Period Of The Republic Of China

After the establishment of the Nanjing National Government,it vigorously implemented the Civilians Library Movement.On the basis of inheriting the Popular Library Movement during the period of Beiyang government,initiated and supported by people in the library and education circles,the Civilians Library has been greatly developed.At that time,it played a good role in spreading culture and enlightening people among the society,and made an important part in the history of modern library.From the perspective of the People's Library Movement in the Republic of China,this paper adopts the methods of literature research,case study,induction and contrast research.It fully interprets and analyzes the historical materials and articles that have been grasped on the basis of previous studies,in order to find out the background and development of the movement.Then the paper analyzes the movement's influence on the library and education circles,and selects the typical public library model at that time.By analyzing the regulations construction,service development and so on,we will draw lessons from the experience and conclude that today's library should inherit and carry forward the knowledge of the People's Library Movement and spirit of people' library during the Republic of China.The way we achieve the goal is to pay attention to the reading condition of the people at the bottom,promote the reading guidance work of the whole people and emphasize the legal protection of national reading.
