"Books;"Books are the ladder of human progress",and the importance of reading is self-evident.The 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to build a learning society.To implement this requirement,China started to carry out "national reading campaign"since 2006.Since 2014 to now,"national reading"has been mentioned in government work reports for five times.In June 2017,the Regulations on Promotion of National Reading(Draft)was reviewed and approved in principle in the affair meeting of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.While "national reading"has gained growing attention in China,"reading promotion" is one of the important ways to achieve"national reading".The mission and social responsibility of libraries have determined that libraries will inevitably become the backbone in the promotion of national reading.Nowadays,nearly all colleges and universities in China have their own libraries.University libraries have become an integral part of colleges and universities and are the main body in the promotion of reading in colleges and universities.As an important part of China's higher education,normal universities and colleges cultivate teachers in all fields,which will become the leading force in China's future education cause.Therefore,the reading promotion activities carried out by the libraries of normal colleges and universities shoulder an important mission.The reading promotion activities targeting on normal students have certain specificity.First of all,such activities shall pay attention to the cultivation of the abilities of normal students,that is,to cultivate the abilities of normal students that are closely relate to teaching practice through the reading promotion activities of the libraries of normal colleges and universities;secondly,the role of normal students in the promotion of "national reading" will change after their graduation.While they are the targets of promotion activities,they are also the "promoters" of reading promotion activities.As normal students certainly will play an:important role in the promotion of "national reading",normal colleges and universities shall cultivate the relevant qualities of normal students as "reading promoters" when carrying out reading and promotion activities to lay the foundation for them to complete reading promotion in the future.This paper makes a comprehensive investigation on the reading promotion activities carried out by the libraries of Anhui normal universities.The main contents of the investigation include whether the reading promotion activities have been carried out,the main body of the reading promotion activities,the development of different types of reading promotion activities and the solidified results of the reading promotion activities.On the basis of the survey results,this paper analyzes and summarizes the general situation of the reading promotion activities in Anhui normal university libraries from four dimensions.In addition,three libraries of normal universities with distinctive reading promotion activities were selected to analyze and summarize their reading promotion activities.These three normal university libraries are Anhui normal university library,Huaibei normal university library and Hefei preschool normal college library.In normal colleges and universities in Anhui province library reading promotion activities,on the basis of full investigation,analysis,summarized the normal colleges and universities in Anhui province the problems existing in the library reading promotion activities,mainly includes:not attach importance to practice the theory of transformation,the lack of a sound evaluation system,promoting reading "normal"remains to be strengthen and deficient highlight of "normal"characteristics.And puts forward the solution to solve these problems and Suggestions:strengthen the practice to the theory of transformation,establish a scientific evaluation system,and also need to set up the mechanism of reading promotion "normal",in the process of reading promotion activities,the need to highlight the "normal"features,need to pay attention to cultivate students "reading promoter" related quality in the future.The purpose and significance of this paper is to find out the general situation of library reading promotion activities in Anhui normal universities through investigation and research,and to find out problems and put forward corresponding solutions.This paper mainly consists of five parts.The main contents of each part are as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background,purpose and significance of the paper,analyzes related domestic and overseas research,defines related concepts,and introduces the innovation of this paper.The second part is the investigation of the current situation of reading promotion activities carriecd by the libraries of libraries of normal colleges and universities in Anhui Province.The third part is the introduction of the three classic cases of the Library of Anhui Normal University,the Library of Huaibei Normal University and the Library of Hefei Preschool Education College,which introduces and analyzes the distinctive reading promotion activities of the three libraries.The fourth part is the analysis of the problems in the reading prom otion activities carried out by the libraries of libraries of normal colleges and universities in Anhui ProvinceThe fifth part is the introduction of the specific suggestions put forward aiming at the problems in the reading promotion activities carried out by the libraries of libraries of normal colleges and universities in Anhui Province.The sixth part is the conclusion.
