Along with the development of economic globalization and the booming of Internet,new media are expanding rapidly,while the monopoly position of traditional local media groups in its city market is gradually decreasing that their living environment is facing severe changes.DQ Media Group is a regional monopoly company and a diversified industry type group.Having little experienced competitive pressure,DQ Media Group is weak in self-improvement consciousness and performance appraisal,and has insufficient mental preparation for the new market environment.Therefore,when the existing management system can no longer meet the group's future development needs,it has become one of the most urgent problems for the company at present to formulate an effective performance appraisal system to stimulate employees' work enthusiasm,improve employees' work efficiency,as well as enable itself to adapt to the market competition in the new era.In this study,the performance appraisal of DQ Media Group is taken as the research object.First of all,relevant literatures at home and abroad are sorted out and relevant theories of performance appraisal are elaborated.Secondly,questionnaire and interview methods are adopted to research the actual performance appraisal conditions in DQ Media Group,and to analyze the existing problems in its performance appraisal system.The main problems include four aspects,namely inadequate guidance for performance appraisal plan,unscientific setting of performance appraisal indicators,improper communication and feedback in performance management,and halfway application of performance appraisal results.Finally,based on the four principles of matching the group's strategy,developing scientifically,effectively coordinating process and result orientation,and all staff participating,the performance appraisal ideas and processes of the group are re-sorted out,and the optimization measures of performance appraisal,such as optimizing its human resources strategy,constructing a scientific and reasonable performance index system,deepening the popularization of its performance appraisal plans,strengthening performance communication and feedback,and implementing the application of performance results,are put forward,which are helpful to enhance the management of DQ Media Group's performance appraisal and promote the healthy,coordinated and high-quality development of China's media enterprises.
