The Research On Construction Status And Development Of Private Libraries In Henan Province

With the rapid development of China's economy,the material demand of the masses have been basically satisfied,while the desire for culture is becoming stronger.However,the construction of public cultural services for the people is lagging behind.In order to solve this problem,the state calls on social forces to participate in the construction of social and public cultural services,as a result,a large number of private libraries have sprung up in towns and villages that lack of public cultural services in our country,which not only bridges the information gap between urban and rural areas,but also enables more people to obtain the rights of universal and equal cultural services.From all walks of life to its fervent concern day by day,some insight in Henan province has actively involved in the construction of private libraries.But in the process of development,due to the limitation of its own conditions,a lot of challenges and various problems are also constantly emerging.How to solve these problems to get out of the dilemma,and to ensure the expansion of this kind of library,it requires us to investigate and analyze the construction status of the private library in Henan province comprehensively and systematically,to find the corresponding countermeasures.This paper based on the private libraries in Henan province as the research object,collect relevant data through network collection and field investigation and comb the data systematically.Then use the SWOT analysis method to analyze the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats of its construction status,and match on the four factors mutually to put forward the pertinent countermeasures.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction.This part states the research background,research significance,research content,research methods and innovations of this paper,sorts out the main viewpoints on the research of non-government funded libraries and private libraries at home and abroad.The second part is the overview of private libraries.This part expounds the concepts of private libraries and summarizes the characteristics and operation modes of private libraries.The third part is the investigation on the construction of private libraries in Henan province.From its distribution and scale,construction groups,resources,management and services and other perspectives,obtained the relevant data.The forth part is the analysis of the present situation of the construction of private libraries in Henan province.Using the SWOT analysis method,this paper systematically analyzes and lists the strengths,weaknesses,opportunuties and threats in the construction of private libraries in Henan province.The fifth part is the development countermeasure of the private libraries in Henan province.Using the thought of SWOT system analysis,this paper constructs an interactive influence matrix for the strengths,weaknesses,opportunuties and threats of the construction of private libraries in Henan Province,and puts forward the countermeasures for the growth and development of private libraries in Henan Province.The sixth part is the conclusion.
