Research On The Characteristic Management Mode Of Private Entity Bookstore Based On SWOT Analysis

With the gradual deepening of cultural system reform, the traditional book industry structure and posture are undergoing rapid change. Although the private entity bookstore is present in the daily life, which represents the traditional culture, but it is no longer evident that the bookstores manifest the social civilization growth. In addition the traditional bookstores are greatly impacted by the internal and external factors. In general the private traditional bookstores are under harsh difficulty. How to change the mode of operation and employ the innovative ideas to enable bookstores to adapt to the economic and social development has become an significant topic in the cultural field.In this paper the SWOT strategic matrix is formed by using the method of SWOT strategic analysis which is applied to locate the internal advantages. disadvantages and the external opportunities/threat. Based on the four strategic combinations the bookstore can adopt one specific mode of combinations in accordance with their managing mode. Besides, a detailed characteristic analysis of managing mode and the implementation of safeguard measures are produced. Each managing mode is accompanied by a typical case which relates to the traditional bookstores to analyze the managing mode in order to check the maneuverability of it. The systematical analysis can be helpful changing the managing thoughts and provides the reference of future development.
