Study On The Co-Construction And Sharing Of Digital Resources In The Libraries At Private Colleges In Henan Province

The library as culture and information resource center at colleges and universities plays an important role in providing information service for teaching and scientific research of the teachers and students. With the development of information construction, digital resources have gradually developed into one of the important work. The library at private colleges is a weak department comparing with other departments. If it wants to construct itself and provides good service for readers, the construction of digital resources must be paid much attention to. Meanwhile, it is a good way to share digital resources among the libraries. Some problems were found by analyzing the construction of digital resources in the libraries at private colleges in Henan Province. The project was proposed to solve the problems, and it is very helpful and meaningful to the construction of digital resources at private colleges.The paper can be divided into the following parts:Firstly, the relevant definitions of digital resource are introduced including the meaning, type and characteristics of digital resource, the method of constructing digital resource, shared digital resource in China; Secondly, the constructions of digital resource in the library at private colleges in Henan province are investigated by the internet. It refers to construction of websites of the library and digital resource in the library. According to the statistical analysis we can find the main problems that exist; Thirdly, the way of solving the problems in the environment of co-construction and sharing are proposed from the following parts:the construction of digital resource in the library at private colleges should have an overall planning. Then great efforts should be given to introduce various digital resources which is constructed and integrated. Finally, fund, policy, manpower and multilateral security mechanism should be established in order to provide a good environment for the digital resources construction.
