Research On The Service Ability Of University Archives Under The Perspective Of Supply

With the continuous deepening of social information disclosure and the gradual revision and improvement of archival laws and regulations,the use of archives services has increasingly become the focus of archival work.The use ofarchival services is not only the need to realize the value of archives,but also an important indicator for measuring the service capacity of archival custodians.University archives is a professional institution that maintains and provides archives services within colleges and universities.The changes in its service capabilities will directly affect all kinds of archives service objects,including the author.For objective needs and subjective curiosity,this paper will serve the college archives.As a research object,we will explore the archives service capacity improvement strategy as the research goal.The author visited the 14 college archives through field research methods,and exchanged the practice of resource construction and service utilization with the staff of the university archives to obtain first-hand information.At the same time,through the network research method,browse the websites of 44 university archives(including 14 university archives visited by the field),WeChat public number and Weibo,and count the construction and operation of "two micro-station".,obtain statistically clear statistics.Using supply theory to analyze the data obtained from network research and literature research,the author believes that the main contradiction in the current college archives service is that the services provided by college archives do not match the needs of various types of users.The main aspect of the contradiction lies in the university archives.From the perspective of the five elements of resources,manpower,management,technology and capital on the supply side reform,the author analyzes the problems existing in the service of college archives,namely,insufficient supply of collection resources,lack of supply of human resources,weak supply of management capacity,and technical supply.Aging and a single supply of funds.Finally,the author uses the "new supply to create new demand supply ideas,from improving the resource supply system;optimizing the human supply structure;improving the management supply efficiency;improving the technical supply methods to provide suggestions for the improvement of the service capacity of college archives.
