Research On University Archives Service Based On User Needs

Along with the popularization of university education and the country's attention to the archival cause,there are more and more archives users in colleges,and their requirements for archives service are becoming higher and higher.How to serve for the users better is an important problem in front of the university archives.In order to keep pace with the times and respond to the call of the country,the university archives should actively improve the information service of archives in colleges,and strive to meet the information needs of university archives users.From the point of view of users demand,this paper discusses the problems existing in the process of providing service in the university archives and puts forward the solving measures.Firstly,this paper expounds the meaning,characteristics,laws,influencing factors of user demand and the development,service concept,service mode of university archives,and the significance of user demand analysis to improve the service of archives in college.Secondly,through the investigation,the author finds that there are some problems in the service of university file users and the university archives.For example,the information literacy of university archives users is not high,the service concept of archival personnel is backward,the development of university archives resources is insufficient,and the service mode of university archives is single,and so on.Finally,in order to improve the information literacy of archives users in colleges,the author has increased the propaganda and promoted the use of archives consciousness,and has encouraged the file users to take active initiative to acquire the file information.In order to strengthen the service consciousness of archivists in colleges,the author has optimizes the personnel team of archives in colleges and improved the professional qualities and skills of archivists in Colleges.We should optimize the organization of archives resources,adjust the structure of archivesresources and promote the sharing of archives resources to strengthen the development of archives resources in universities.In order to expand the utilization channels of archives users,the author has suggested that the university archives should strengthen offline service and do a good job in online service.
