The concept of "Internet" proposed in recent years has seen rapid development in China's software industry.According to statistical data,even in the general environment of China's overall economic slowdown in 2016,the Internet-related and other software industries still maintained rapid growth.Hardware costs,software costs,usage and maintenance costs,training costs,and preparation costs are five important components that make up a software company's costs.At the same time,the industrial optimization and power reforms of the power industry studied in recent years have caused the overproduction of coal-fired power,especially coal power,to reach a point where it cannot be ignored.U company is facing Great challenge.This article is based on the theory of project schedule management,U company's software project as the main research object,starting from the two aspects of planning and control of the progress management.This article takes U software company's simulation software training system project as an example.First,it analyzes the research background of the topic,introduces the software project management,software project schedule management,schedule management methods,etc.,and combines the external market environment to the software companies at the present stage.The challenges and opportunities faced are sorted out.Based on this,the problems faced by the U company are studied.Based on the actual situation of U company's software projects in recent years,the analysis concludes that the key to controlling the project cost lies in the project schedule control.Through in-depth interviews and brainstorming,the company analyzed the three existing problems in U software company's project schedule management: high schedule delay rate,serious cost overrun,and low customer satisfaction.The related schedule management model was used to optimize project schedule management.The project schedule is planned using theoretical methods such as Gantt chart,critical path method,and WBS method.Focusing on project progress control,through a series of improvement measures,U software company project software period has significantly decreased,the project cost overrun issues have been effectively controlled,the improved project schedule management to bring the cost of reduction and optimization,improve the competitive advantage.Finally,this article summarizes the problems raised in the project schedule management and improvement measures,and puts forward the prospects for further planning and optimization in the future.This paper takes the project schedule management as the ultimate goal.According to the characteristics of the U software company project,the WBS,Gantt chart,and critical path method are used to find out the critical path math for project implementation,focusing on the project schedule control.The aim is to put forward an optimization plan for U company project management,reduce project costs,gain competitive advantage and profit breakthrough points,and provide reference for other small and medium-sized software companies.
