Vietnamese Internet Media Coverage On "One Belt One Road" Initiative

The " Belt and Road" is the abbreviation of "Silk Road Economic Belt" and "21th century Maritime Silk Road".On September 2013 and October,Chinese President Xi Jinping was visiting Central and Southeast Asian countries.Putting forward a major initiative to jointly build the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and "21th century Maritime Silk Road",namely the "Belt and Road" initiative.The "Belt and Road" project is fully dependent on the existing bilateral and multilateral mechanisms between China and the countries concerned,and on the existing ones.An effective platform for regional cooperation to build a community of interests,destiny and responsibility for political mutual trust,economic integration and cultural inclusion.Vietnam,as one of the countries along the "Belt and Road" line,whether in economic or cultural terms,it has long been greatly influenced by China.Taking Vietnam News Agency and Vietnam's Express website as samples,this paper analyzes the status of the Vietnamese media's coverage of "Belt and Road".Through the number of reports,the report is biased.The report involved the country,the content of the report,and other aspects of the in-depth analysis,found that the Vietnamese media gave considerable attention to "Belt and Road",the volume of reports showed an upward trend.In general,there are two different tendencies,positive and negative.This paper analyzes the process,quantity,content changes of the two websites' coverage of “Belt and Road”,and puts forward suggestions and improvement plans for the existing problems in the report in the light of the national conditions.Vietnam hopes to join Belt and Road and gain more resources and development opportunities in the process of international integration.
