"One Belt, One Road" is not only the intersection of Chinese dream and the world’s dream, but also the future development direction of China in a century. "Nanfang Daily" and "Guangxi Daily", as the relevant provincial mainstream media, should become the main force to report "One Belt, One Road". It is their responsibility to tell Chinese story well, spread Chinese voice well and get the public support to "One Belt, One Road". In the face of opportunities and challenges, to enhance these two newspapers’reporting level is necessary and urgent. This paper uses the methods of literature analysis, content analysis and comparative study, combines the Marxist concept of news and Media framework theory to contrast and analyze how these two newspapers report "One Belt, One Road" in 2015. According to data analysis, both of them adhered to the Marxist concept of news and did a good job on reporting in the past year. But They also have some drawbacks. These two newspapers both pay more attention to official reports and preaching instead of telling story. Besides, Guangxi daily reports insufficient news; depth of coverage is not enough; original manuscripts are not enough. Nanfang daily doesn’t make full use of new media and integrated reporting; Excessive focus on financial reports, not enough comprehensive and linkage with foreign media. This paper puts forward to feasible suggestions to conquerthe two newspapers’drawbacks. These two newspapers should be closer to the masses and report what they understand; pay more attention to the individual stories; Guangxi daily should report "One Belt, One Road" more frequently, expand the amount of information; enhance the depth of coverage; Adhere to the original, increase the amount of original manuscripts. Nanfang daily should make full use of new media; control the amount of financial reports; going out and let more foreign media come to China.
