“One Belt One Road” is an abbreviation for “The Silk Road Economic Belt”and “The21st-century Maritime Silk Road”.The President of the People's Republic of China,Xi Jinping,during his excursions to Kazakhstan and Indonesia in September and October 2013,proposed creation of “One Belt One Road” initiative.This initiative is an international economic road,which redefines world's economy.At the same time,this initiative is a rejuvenation of the civilization and cultural exchange.“The Belt and Road Initiative” connects China with countries of Middle Asia,Western Asia,Indian Ocean Basin and Mediterranean Basin.The initiative shows China and “Belt and Road” countries interactions,common development and mutual benefits.Poland is the first country of European Union on the road from Asia to Europe.It has the Baltic Sea coast in the north of the country,and to the south of Poland there are mountain massives,which make the traffic very inconvenient.The road from Asia to Europe should go through Poland,because it is the most efficient and fastest way.Poland is one of the most important countries in the “Belt and Road initiative”.Author of this paper strongly believes “One Belt One Road” may bring many advantages both to Chinese and Polish cultures and economies.Polish political system is different than Chinese – People's Republic of China is governed by the Communist Party of China in cooperation with different parties and The Polish Republic is a parliamentary democratic republic whereby the Prime Minister is the head of the Government of a multi-party system and the President is the head of the state.Every four years,Poland has elections where the People choose the governing party.Every four year,the party may change.This paper analyses the news coverage of three Polish most influential non-religion related newspapers' websites: “Gazeta Wyborcza”,“Rzeczpospolita” and “Polityka”.The analysis concerns the opinion about “One Belt One Road” topic from 2013 to June 2018.The author analyzes the attitude towards the “Belt and Road Initiative”,and also the major topics which appear on the three media's websites.In conclusion,“Gazeta Wyborcza” and “Rzeczpospolita” supports the Initiative and“Polityka” doesn't support it.The most important themes the three media of coverages are politics,finances,economy,transport and trade.Because these three media's ideological differences,their attitude to “One Belt One Road Initiative” are different.Author tries to enumerate the reasons for this matter and propose some changes to the current “Belt and Road Initiative” promotion.
