Nowadays,the competition between cities is no longer the competition between the pure economy,but the competition between the comprehensive strength.In order to obtain the resource elements that promote urban economic development,cities not only need strengthen their hard power,but also need to build a city image that meets the city's orientation based on the unique historical and cultural connotation of the city.Huangshi,as a veteran industrial city,has a profound history of mining and metallurgy culture and has rich industrial tourism resources.In the face of the current state of urban development with exhausted resources,Huangshi's economic development needs to be transformed.The 3,000-year history of mining and metallurgy culture has infused a unique cultural gene for the development of the city.It also laid the foundation for Huangshi to create an image of an industrial tourism city.Therefore,this article starts with the 5W model of communication science,analyzes the process of the dissemination of the city image,the main body,content,channels,audiences and effects.Next,this paper analyzes the present situation of Huangshi city image.Therefore,the development of Huangshi city's image of industrial tourism city is clarified.Then we divided the consumption market of Huangshi city image into four parts.We know that the most two important markets for the image competition of Huangshi city are the second part and the third part.Based on this,the main competitors of Huangshi City are delineated.Determined competitors,we use the SWOT analysis method to compare the current status of Huangshi to build an industrial tourism city image with competitors,thus analyzing the existing problems in the process of the development of the city image of Huangshi City,such as the lack of awareness and the marketing system of the city's image.Finally,we use the corporate image identification system to design the image identification system of Huangshi city.At the same time,we should also improve the marketing communication system of the city image through perfecting the main body of market operation and using event marketing.After doing this,the image of the city will play a role in the market operation.
