| With the development of virtual reality technology and Internet technology in the new media area.A new type of news reporting has emerged: immersive news.Nowadays,a online video media,Vice News is good at using this new reporting type.At the end of February 2018,Vice News have been played more than 630 million times on the global video website You Tube.The immersive news reporting mode advocates journalists to go deeply into the news scene.Besides,it presents the news content from the first perspective.In addition,it not only highlights personal real experience and add personal subjective language to the audience,but also brings the immersive feeling to the audience.This kind of subjective way of reporting gives the audience the feeling of 'immersing'.And to some extent,it subverts the paradigm of the mainstream media,which is a challenge to the way of telling stories in traditional news.In this dissertation,Vice News will be used as a case study to analyze its unique immersive news reporting systematically.By combing the historical context of the birth of immersive news,the relationship between the social environment and the virtual reality technology will be clarified.Then,analysis the Vice News' immersive news from the characteristics of immersion journalism and the advantages of it,in order to find the characteristic of it are long video report mode,sensitivity report topic and verisimilitude of the reported experience characteristics.Besides,it uses the first person perspective to expression.The analysis results shows that the characteristics of new journalism is similar to immersive news reporting.To be more specific,the express methods such as subjective styles is the same.The new journalism did not live for a long time,therefore it is necessary to explore the problems of immersive news reporting deeply.After analyzing these problems,I will give some advice of this phenomenon.The purpose of this research is to explore the advantages and problems of the new news reporting mode through a systematical analysis of Vice News immersive news.After that,it is necessary to make a prediction and suggestion for its development in the future,which will be helpful for the Chinese immersive news reporting. |
