The Research On The Obiective Reporting Of Criminal Cases Reports In The Beijing News

The principle of objectivity is to be observed in news reporting.With the change and development of the times,the principle of objectivity of news is being improved in practice.This paper mainly focuses on four aspects.First,it expatiates and analyzes the idea of news objectivity from the development process and connotation.Secondly,the content analysis of the source of the criminal case reported in the Beijing News;Thirdly,the author analyzes the tendency of the criminal case report in Beijing Daily.Fourthly,the paper analyzes the cases reported in the Beijing News.In recent years,Fudan drug trafficking cases,jiangge cases and other criminal cases have caused a lot of social debate,criminal case reporting standards,reporting methods have also become a hot topic of discussion.As the mainstream media of the National metropolitan newspaper,the Beijing daily also reports criminal cases with relative maturity.News objectivity is a principle that must be followed in the media reporting,but whether news objectivity can really get through and report objectively in criminal cases is a problem that needs to be discussed and studied.The principle of objectivity of news has two meanings,namely,the practical level(that is,objective reporting)and the conceptual level(that is,news objectivity).In the method of objective reporting,we study the objectivity of the report on criminal cases in the Beijing News by separating accurate reporting of facts,facts from opinions,striving for impartiality and balance,using verifiable sources,and presenting facts from a neutral point of view.This paper studies the practical aspects of the criminal case report of the Beijing News to examine its conceptual problems.This idea of objectivity also happens to be embodied in practice.The two levels of practice and philosophy complement each other to explore whether the Beijing News conforms to the principle of objectivity in reporting criminal cases.If done better,we can provide a model for other media in our country;If not,what needs to be improved is to give other media a standard for reporting criminal cases.
