Research On Narrative Features Of Immersive Journalism

Beginning in 2014,immersive journalism at home and abroad has developed vigorously,continuously optimized and upgraded,and has been widely used in various fields such as politics,sports,finance and economics.Technological innovation has promoted the rapid development of VR,AR,MR,holographic imaging and other technologies.The media has entered a new stage of development,and the era of financial media represented by VR immersive journalism has arrived.In January 2019,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in the collective study of the 19 th Political Bureau of the Central Committee that "promoting the integration and development of the media and building the whole media have become an urgent issue facing us".Nowadays,network and digital technology are shaping a new media environment with unprecedented breadth and depth.Immersion news,a new type of news form,combines text,pictures,audio and video,data and other media forms to improve the dissemination effect of news.At the same time,the communication of the whole media also makes the narrative characteristics and structure of news more diversified and complicated.This paper analyses the immersive news reports of New York Times,CNN,BBC,Finance New Network,Xinhua Net and Guangming Net in the world through content analysis method,combs the text discourse structure of typical news,studies relevant literature works since 2013 through literature analysis method,and tries to sort out the immersive news narrative framework,so as to summarize and refine the characteristics of immersive news narrative.The author mainly takes immersion news as the object of narrative analysis,and explores its unique law from the perspective of narratology.In the process of exploring,the author uses the immersion news of New York Times as a case study to promote the combination of theory and practice.In the research,it is believed that immersive news reconstructs the narrative characteristics of news through the advancement of communication technology,the presentation of multi-media text in narrative discourse,the interaction of narrative strategies,the extension of multi-antennae of narrative content of news accidents,the large capacity of narrative space and strong visual expression.By exploring the narrative nature of immersive journalism and taking it as the object of narrative analysis,this paper summarizes it into the overall framework of narrative.Through the discussion of narrative text,narrative strategy and inspiration brought by immersive journalistic narrative,and the combination of multi-level and multi-angle theoretical and practical analysis with traditional narrative theory,it shows that immersive journalism is different from traditional narrative or traditional journalism.Diversified narrative structure.
