Cost Management Study Of RFID Intelligent Terminal R&D Project In B Company

The distinct characteristic of modern project is basing on high-tech,paying more attention on innovation.More and more R&D projects are carrying out.R&D investment increase rapidly.As a result,project cost management is facing severe challenges.Generally speaking,R&D projects last longer and contain more uncertain factors than common projects.R&D cost management is more difficult.In order to improve quality and increase efficiency of cost management,we combine R&D cost management and R&D life cycle.We divide R&D life cycle into four stages on the basis of different activities,cost-drivers and risks.Meanwhile,targeted measures and suggestions are worked out.Firstly,the paper analyzes the current situation and issues of R&D cost management in B company.Then divide R&D life cycle into four stages on the basis of different activities.The four stages are concept stage,develop stage,verification stage and industrial test.Respectively,the four measures are Strategic cost management,Risk cost management,Quality cost management and Goal cost management.Some supporting measures are made for it,such as strengthening cost awareness,optimizing resource allocation,building examination system and so on.Finally,the paper puts forward an application of the new model and take RFID project of B company as an example.The research prove that strategy choice of B company is scientific.With the application of the new model,RFID project increases capacity by 30%and reduce cost by 27%.Thus it can be seen life cycle cost management of R&D projects is feasible and reasonable.The paper's research is benefit to cost management of B company,and can improve the cost management pattern of high-tech enterprises.
