Research On The Improvement Of The Resilience Of The Factual Orphans In Rural Areas

According to a sample survey conducted by the Chinese ministry of civil affairs in 2014,there exist at least 610,000 Factual orphans in China.In recent years,the problem of Factual orphans is emerging in endlessly.In their growth process,they have to face many difficulties in survival and development after experiencing family changes.If they cannot receive timely and effective guidance and education,it may affect their psychology.They may even have deviant behavior which will harm to other people and society.Factual orphans are a special kind of vulnerable groups,and the society needs to pay more attention to them.Through consulting the research results and reports on Factual orphans,it is found that there are certain gaps in the three aspects of internal advantages,external support and sense of efficacy between Factual orphans and children from other healthy families.In order to explore the effectiveness of social work in improving the resilience of Factual orphans in rural areas,this paper takes X village of Xianfeng as an example,uses the relevant content in the "growing sky project" tutorial in Hong Kong for reference to make the activity design,and the revised "children's resilience table" for comparative measurement.After the assessment of the resilience of five Factual orphans and five children from healthy families in X village of Xian Feng,Factual orphans were generally lower in terms of their internal advantages,external support and sense of efficacy compared with children from healthy families.These internal and external factors lead to the fact that orphans are generally not able to resist adversity in the face of difficulties,so it is necessary to improve their abilities in these aspects through targeted guidance and training.Based on this fact,this study,guided by the resilience theory,adopts the social work practice mode of group work and semi-structured interview.The group activities are mainly divided into 8 times.Through games,movies,sharing and homework,to explore the inner and outer potential of Factual orphans,and to cultivate and strengthen the intrinsic personal advantages of Factual orphans.At the same time,the training of the Factual orphans in interpersonal communication and emotional management is paid attention to.After the intervention of social work,it was found that the commission effect of the fact orphans' resilience was obviously significant.Group work has achieved remarkable results in solving group problems.Each group activity has a clear goal,and members of the group have homogeneity,which makes it easier to understand and accept each other.The concept and professional method of social work can quickly analyze and solve problems.From the perspective of resilience theory,social workers put forward strategies to put the problem solving and personal development in the same important position,effectively improving the resilience of rural Factual orphans,which has certain reference significance for the follow-up research on resilience.
