The Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Capecitabine Chemotherapy Hand-Foot Syndromes(Blood Deficiency And Wind Dryness Type)with SiWuXiaoFengSan

OBJECTIVE:To study the clinical effect of Siwu Xiaofeng San external washing on hand and foot syndrome(blood deficiency wind dryness type)caused by capecitabine chemotherapy,to evaluate its efficacy and safety in the treatment of hand and foot syndrome(blood deficiency wind dryness type),and to provide further guidance for the clinical treatment of hand and foot syndrome.METHODS: In this trial,64 patients with blood deficiency wind dryness type hand and foot syndrome who met the inclusion criteria in the inpatient department of the hospital of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese Medicine were selected from March 2018 to May 2019.They were divided by envelope grouping.Treatment group(1 case of shedding during treatment,32 cases in total)was given Siwu Xiaofeng San decoction external washing,control group(1 case of shedding during treatment,32 cases in total)was given vitamin B6 tablets oral combined with warm water external washing,for 21 days for a total of 1 course of treatment.The efficacy is evaluated after 21 days,and the main observation of the patients were the grading changes of hand and foot syndrome,and the local main of hand and foot syndrome changes in symptom grading,changes in the KPS score,and changes in TCM syndrome score before and after treatment.RESULTS: 1.Grading changes of hand-foot syndrome: In the treatment group,17 subjects were cured,9 were rated as effective and 6 as ineffective,for an overall effectiveness rate of 81.25%;in the control group the total effective rate was 56.25%;6 subjects were cured,12 were rated as effective and 14 as ineffective;comparison between the two groups was quite significant,P<0.05.The HFS grading in the treatment group changed markedly than that of the control group.2.Major local symptom grading changes of hand and foot syndrome: among the changes of skin dryness grading and skin pleomorphic erythema grading and the pain grading,comparison between the control group and the treatment group was statistically significant with P<0.05 between groups.The total validity rate of the treatment group was clearly superior to that of the control group.In the change of numbness grade,there was a statistically significant difference between the control and treatment groups,P<0.05.The overall efficiency of the treatment group was a little superior to that of the control group.In the grading changes of skin ulcer,the gap between the control group and the treatment group was not statistically significant(P>0.05),and the total effective rate of the two groups was not significant difference.3.The change of KPS score: after treatment,the effective rate of KPS score in the treatment group was 56.25% and that in the control group was 21.88%.The treatment group therapeutic effect of the physical condition was clearly superior to the control group(P<0.01).4.Changes in TCM syndrome score: after treatment,the TCM syndrome score of the treatment group(12.375±5.040)was significantly lower than that of the control group(21.188±4.948),showing that the control group was considerably inferior to the treatment group.5.Evaluation of curative effect of TCM syndrome: after therapy,the overall efficiency of the treatment group was 75%,while the control group was 12.5%.The treatment group was clearly inferior to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Vitamin B6 warm water external washing and Siwu Xiaofeng San external washing can alleviate the clinical symptoms of HFS patients to varying degrees,but the effect of Siwu Xiaofeng San external washing is obviously better than that of vitamin B6 warm water external washing group.Siwu Xiaofeng San can significantly improve the grading of hand and foot syndrome,alleviate the main local symptoms,improve the quality of life of patients,no obvious adverse reactions,better safety,direct to the hospital,convenient for clinical application.
