Clinical Analysis Of Tianlong Xujin Jiegu Ointment Combined With Elastic Protective Fixing For Acute Ankle Sprain

Objective: To verify the effectiveness of Tianlong Xujin Jiegu Ointment in treating patients with acute ankle sprain,and to provide reference basis for clinical work and scientific research in the future.Methods : The research object of this experiment is 58 patients with acute ankle sprain diagnosed in the outpatient and emergency department of the affiliated hospital of TCM of Xinjiang medical university from November 2018 to March 2020.the patients are randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method,as the treatment group and the control group,which are allocated according to 1:1.There were 29 cases in the treatment group and 29 cases in the control group.In the treatment group,the prepared Tianlong Xujin Jiegu Ointment was first applied to the ankle of affected limb,and then the elastic bandage was wrapped up and fixed with elastic protector.The patients in the control group were only treated with simple elastic protective fixation.The patients were instructed to pay attention to the blood circulation of the affected limb and the temperature and perception of the distal end of the affected limb during the fixation.The tightness of the elastic protective fixation was adjusted at any time according to the swelling.Follow-up was conducted after the treatment in the first,second and fourth weeks,and re-examination was conducted to evaluate the recovery of the affected limb.Results:After systematic statistical analysis and further comparison of the data of the two groups,the results of the two groups have no statistical significance in terms of basic data of patients(P<0.05).Repeated measurement analysis of variance was conducted on AOFAS,VAS and swelling degree scores before treatment and 1,2 and 4 weeks after treatment.The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in AOFAS and VAS scores in intra-group,inter-group and interactive effects,all with P < 0.05,but there was no interaction in swelling degree.That is,the AOFAS,VAS and swelling degree scores in each group change with time.The difference in the change trend of AOFAS,VAS and swelling degree scores between the treatment group and the control group is statistically significant.Besides swelling degree,there is interaction between time and treatment effect.Conclusion:The clinical treatment of Tianlong Xujin Jiegu Ointment can obviously reduce the pain of acute ankle sprain,shorten the recovery time,and accelerate the recovery of ankle function.The effect lasts for a long time,and the long-term effect is better.
