| Purpose:By comparing therapeutic effect of Thumb-tag Needle Therapy combined wtih Chinese Angelica Decoction and that of Chinese Angelica Decoction in curing chronic eczema(Syndrome of Blood Deficiency and Wind-dryness),we can see whether the former approach is more effective than the latter.Methodology:72 participants are randomly and evenly divided into experimental group and control group.Experimental group is treated with Chinese Angelica Decoction and Yufu Herbal Cream,while the control group adds Thumb-tag Needle to the mix.Course of treatment for the two groups are four weeks and therapeutic indexes will be evaluated in 0th,2nd and 4th week,and the fourth week after the treatment.In this process,adverse effects will be recorded and timely addressed with the help of SPSS26.0 that analyzes data and records results.Results:1.Therapeutic indexes of two groups will be compared within each group in the0 th,2nd,4th week.Treatment approaches adopted by two groups are proved to be effective(P<0.05)in curing erythema,papule,exfoliation,crusting,lichenoid degeneration,pruritus,EASI score and lesion area,symptoms of chronic eczema.2.Therapeutic indexes will be compared between two groups in the 0th,2nd,4th week.The experimental group outperforms the control group in curing exfoliation,lichenoid degeneration,EASI score and lesion area(P<0.05),while other indexes see no significant difference(P>0.05).3.Very few patients of experimental group suffer from slight pain caused by needle,which can be relieved after the removal of the needle,while patients of control group show no adverse effect during the treatment course.Conclusion:1.Thumb-tag needle therapy combined with Chinese Angelica Decoction have an apparent clinical effect,and works better than monotherapy in EASI score,and treating epidermal exfoliation and lichenification;2.With no significant adverse reactions,this method is a safer acupuncture assistant therapy that can be applied for clinical use. |
