1 Background With the change of society and environment, sinus disease has been a heart disease threatening human life and health. The way the western medicine use in this disease is single, while there has lots of side effects. And according to researches, the treatment of TCM can effectively alleviate the disease.Based on these researches, traditional Chinese medicine has opened up a new idea for the treatment of sick sinus node syndrome.2 Objective To further verify the clinical efficacy and safety of Xinfukang in the treatment of Heart-kidney Yang Deficiency type sick sinus syndrome, and to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of sinus diseases with traditional Chinese medicine.3 Methods According to the inclusion criteria,56 patients were screened out and randomly divided into two groups:the control group(Ningxinbao combined with conventional western medicine treatment)and the research group(Xinfukang combined with conventional western medicine treatment),with 28 cases in each group. After 5 weeks of treatment, the clinical symptoms and Holter index of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared. At the same time, the safety indexes were monitored.Spass21.0 statistical software was used for data analysis,t test was used for measurement data, while chi-square test was for count data, and rank sum test was used for rank data analysis.4 Results (1)Efficacy of TCM syndrome:The total effective rate of Xinfukang group was 92.59% when the control group was 70.37%.The efficacy of Xinfukang group was better than that of Ningxinbao group(P<0.05).(2)Total efficacy of Holter:The total effective rate of Xinfukang group was 88.89% while Ningxinbao group was 70.37%.The study group was better than the control group in improving the efficacy of dynamic electrocardiogram(P<0.05).(3)TCM syndrome total score:The intra-group comparison of TCM syndrome total score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment was conducted, and the results were all P<0.05,indicating that both groups had effective treatment. After treatment, the total score of TCM syndromes in Xinfukang group was better than that in Ningxinbao group(P<0.05).The results indicated that Xinfukang group was better than Ningxinbao group.(4)Heart rate comparison of Holter index:The results of the comparison within the group and between the group are all P<0.05,mean that the two groups of treatment for the improvement of heart rate are effective.(5)Long RR interval number comparison:After treatment and before treatment long RR interval number comparison in the group, the results indicating that both groups of treatment for the improvement of heart rate are effective.Comparison between the two groups after treatment showed that P<0.05,indicating that the effect of improving the number of long RR interval of DCG in the study group was better than that in the control group.(6)Index of Security:The urine routine, stool routine and occult blood test before and after treatment in the two groups were observed and compared,no adverse changes were observed;Liver and kidney function indexes were within the normal range, and there was no significant difference before and after medication(P>0.05).5 Conclusion The original Xinfukang by professor Cheng Xiaoyu,a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Anhui province, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, heart rate and quality of life of sinus patients with heart and kidney Yang deficiency, with satisfactory clinical efficacy. At the same time,Xinfukang had no adverse effect on patients' liver and kidney functions and other safety indicators, indicating that Xinfukang is safe and effective in the treatment of pathological sinus node syndrome, and is worthy of further application and promotion.
