In pace with the acceleration of urbanization,the problem of children's sensory integration imbalance caused by urbanization,family cultivation style and other factors gradually appears in people's field of vision.Sensory integration imbalance means that the human brain loses the ability to coordinate and integrate the senses of the body,which exerts a significant influence to the healthy growth of children,and even leads to autism and other diseases over time.Sensory integration training,as the main way to deal with the problem of sensory integration imbalance,was created in 1972 and has been used ever since.What's more,with the increasing awareness of family education,places for sensory integration training are no longer limited to professional hospitals or training camps.As professional training camps are often aimed at single functional training and children's resistance to the training environment,the market demand for household sensory training products is particularly urgent.Therefore,this topic takes the preschool children with sensory integration imbalance as the target users,takes the situation of family use as the starting point,probes into the needs of family-assisted training in the family scene,and carries out the design practice.From theoretical analysis to design practice,the research is consisted of three stages:“theoretical analysis-user research-design practice”.The theoretical analysis of the first stage begins with the discussion of the relationship between sensory integration theory,training method and training product,and sorts out the relationship among sensory integration theory,sensory integration training and training products through literature research.Then,through the analysis of the types of sensory integration imbalance and the existing domestic and foreign products,it sums up the theoretically referential point.The second stage is the research stage of the users' phase of the topic.First of all,through the analysis of the physical and mental characteristics of preschool children with sensory integration imbalance,the demands of preschool children with sensory integration imbalance for family sensory integration training are extracted.Secondly,through qualitative research and quantitative research,empirical research has been conducted toverify the rationality of demand extraction,and further in-depth extraction of user needs into four categories: sensory integration training needs,parent-child interaction and social needs,environmental space and storage needs,and product growth needs.Finally,five design principles of household sensory training products are summarized: safety principle,the user-centric principle,principle of interest,initiative principle,progressive development principle and parent-child interaction principle.As for the third stage,it carries on the design practice of household sensory integration training products under the guidance of the results and experience of the above two stages.Through interdisciplinary research methods,practical exploration and solutions are developed for four types of needs.All in all,through the study of this topic,a set of auxiliary training products are designed for preschool children with sensory integration imbalance to improve the efficiency of children's sensory integration training,starting from the family environment,through the participation of parents,bring children safety fun sense of integration training,promote the emotional communication between children and parents.
