With the accelerated development of the economic globalization,the competition of enterprise products in the world is intensifying,which makes the enterprises pay more and more attention to the development of new products.By improving the competitive advantage of enterprises through developing new products to cope with the increasingly fierce product competition.The neglect of consumer demand in the traditional product development process leads to the failure of achieving the docking between products and the market.The separation of product form,structure and material makes it less fault-tolerant,and it is hard to adapt to any idea change or procedure modification at the end of NPD process.In order to fully meet the challenges of new product development,it is necessary to integrate a large amount of knowledge in various fields for design innovation.Under this background,this paper proposes a product innovation design method based on the informed tectonics theory.A hybrid cross NPD model based on the informed tectonics theory is established.The model integrates the AHP,QFD and the TOPSIS analysis method organically,and combines the consumer demand with the material properties through the optimization algorithm,to product innovation design based on consumer demand.On the basis of Analytic Hierarchy Process,the hierarchical House of Quality is used to obtain the comprehensive weight value of material attributes about overall customer satisfaction,which is the basis for the next step material selection.The fit degree between the optional material and the optimum material is claculated by TOPSIS analytical method.Moreover,considering the comprehensive weight value of material attributes about overall customer satisfaction,the final material combination satisfaction ranking is established.After that,analysis and verification of test results with the method of Ashby chart,based on the finite element analysis and topological optimization to adjust product appearance structure,and the appearance structure of the product is adjusted to make the product shape meet the stress demand.The integrated ITNPD model overcomes the unpredictability of the traditional NPD model.Finally,combining with the actual case of laser printer shell design,the advantages of product innovation design using ITNPD model are expounded,and the feasibility of this method is verified.The hybrid cross NPD model based on the informed tectonics theory integrates multi-disciplinary knowledge,on this basis,the design innovation design is carried out.To ensure that conceptual design can adapt to changing market demands,provide products and services that meet consumer needs,effectively short the cycle of product research and development.It provides new ideas and theoretical references for product innovation design under the new situation.
