Materials play a key role in a design process.However,with the continuous innovation of digital technology,the position of materials in design has also been reexamined.In the past,gaps can often be seen between materials and design elements including structure,function,and appearance in product design and development process,which resulted in material waste to a certain extent and more unnecessary input cost of materials.Therefore,it is of great significance in promoting the innovation of design ideas and design patterns to strengthen the relationship between materials and these design elements and to focus on the logical relationship between them.Based on the advances of digital technology and to solve the above problems,this thesis studies the informed tectonics theory,bionic design and topology optimization design to find the internal relationship between the three,and constructs a method of product bionic design on the basis of the informed tectonics theory.The construction process of the method is mainly divided into the following steps:firstly,based on the technological means of study in this thesis,the compliant mechanism is determined as the research carrier and according to the characteristics of the compliant mechanism,the bionic object is the mesophyll in the blade.The performance data is used to clarify the optimization direction of the subsequent compliant mechanism;then,the material-related boundary conditions are described through the multi-phase material interpolating model based on the unit stacking method,and the fatigue analysis of the compliant mechanism is used to characterize the fatigue performance of the material,thereby completing the description of the material properties;last,the thesis establishes the topology optimization model of the compliant mechanism,sets the objective function and imposes constraints,with the optimal solution found.In order to prove the rationality of the method,this thesis takes the optimal design of the reverser of an airport electric luggage tractor as a case study,and tests the effectiveness of the method through analyzing the results of the optimal design so as to put forward a prototype design plan of an airport electric luggage tractor.In this thesis,the relevant theories and technologies about informed tectonics and topology optimization are used in a creative way in the research of product bionic design.It is an innovation exploration of product bionic design methods and provides reference for other related research in the future.
