Study On Seed Plant Flora And Plant Resources Characteristics In The Arid Area Of Inner Mongolia

Through literature review,field investigation and plant specimen identification,based on the principles of floristic geography,according to the classification system of plant resources,analyzing the flora and plant resources characteristics of seed plants in the arid area of Inner Mongolia,in order to provide basic data for desert control,plant resources protection and sustainable utilization in the arid area of Inner Mongolia.The results show:(1)There are 269 species of seed plants in the arid area of Inner Mongolia,belonging to 35 families and 132 genera,among which Compositae,Leguminosae,Gramineae and Chenopodiaceae are the dominant families,including most species.In plant life form,herbs have obvious advantages,accounting for 76.10%of the total seed plants in this area,shrubs account for 22.22%of the total seed plants,and arbors only account for 1.68%of the total seed plants.In the water ecological types of plants,xerophytes have obvious advantages,accounting for 60.60%of the total seed plants in this area,mesophytes account for 38.66%of the total seed plants,and hygrophytes account for 0.74%of the total seed plants.(2)The distribution types of families are mainly distributed in the world,accounting for 60%of the total families of seed plants in this area.The distribution types of genera are mainly distributed in temperate zone,accounting for 50.90%of the total non world distribution of seed plants in this area.The distribution types of species are mainly distributed in temperate zone,accounting for 25.12%of the total non world distribution of seed plants in this area.(3)There are 16 kinds of rare and endangered plants in this area,including 3 and 9 kinds of national level protected plants of level I and level II respectively;5,7 and 4 kinds of provincial level protected plants of level I,level II and level III respectively in Inner Mongolia.(4)Among the plant resources in this area,there are 93 kinds of medicinal plant resources,accounting for 56.71%of the total plant resources in this area;there are 86 kinds of plant resources of plant protein and amino acid,accounting for 52,44%of the total plant resources in this area;there are 20 kinds of oil plant resources,accounting for 12.20%of the total plant resources in this area;there are 16 kinds of fiber plant resources,accounting for 9.76%of the total plant resources in this area;there are garden ornamental plant resources There are 14 kinds of plant resources,accounting for 8.54%of the total number of plant resources in the region.
